I returned to AMAN Builders for 4 months as more senior Project Coordinator where I had the opportunity to continue my previous work with added responsibility and workload due to my previous experience.

I had the opportunity to work on two projects simultaneously, coordinating construction, problem-solving constructability issues, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, maintaining LEED® project documentation, and attending & running construction meetings.

  • Attained valuable time management skills by working as a project coordinator on two simultaneous projects.
  • Experienced all phases of a project from tender to project closeout.

Junior Project Coordinator/Estimator

As a Junior Project Coordinator at a major general contractor, I was working on $10M-50M commercial LEED® construction projects. My work included contract administration, maintaining lines of communication between all project members, and project record-keeping. As well, I had the opportunity to work on project proposals and assist in creating tender packages and bids for potential projects.

  • Drafted and assisted in three project proposals including a unique Integrated Project Management (IPD) proposal.
  • Successfully managed and deployed IT solution to migrate Project Managers personal computers to portable Surface devices with docking stations.

Infrastructure Engineering Co-op Student

During my work term at the City of Edmonton’s Drainage Planning (and later Growth Coordination) I developed valuable team-working and problem-solving skills.

I was exposed to a variety of different municipal engineering challenges including macro-scale drainage network analysis, stormwater network simulations using EPA SWMM, aswell as field assessment of city “Low Impact Development” facilities.

  • Took over rainfall analysis project and automated calculations using VBA and Microsoft Excel to create more accurate simulations.
  • Delivered and presented report on status of City’s “Low Impact Development” facilities.

Modular Construction Research Assistant
